But when the comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from
the Father, he shall testify of me;
And ye also shall bear witness, because
ye have been with me from the beginning.
John 15:26,27
You paid my debt
You set me free.
By giving your life
On Calvary's tree.

This wondrous gift
You gave to me.
Healed blind eyes
That now I see.

Mercy and grace
To me, you give.
Light in darkness
That I might live.

How I praise you
For all you've done.
Given your all
For this unworthy one.
Is there sometimes
Only emptiness inside of you?
Does it seem there is never
Anything you can do?

Do you feel the burning
Of tears in your eyes?
And no one hears
The fear in your cries?

Does no one seem
To really care?
That you have sorrows
You need to share.

But Jesus has said,
"Be ye meek.
I will give
The peace you seek!"

Friend, counselor
Prince of peace.
He will make
Your sorrows cease.

He will have
Around you,his arm.
Keeping you from hurt
And all harm.

You shall have
No more fears.
And need never again
Shed sorrows tears!
Never Again
I have a friend
Who knows my every care.
One who has given me
A place, in his kingdom to share.

He is the friend
Who died on Calvary's tree.
Shedding his own blood
That I might be free.

He walked with his cross
As men spat upon his face.
That one such as I
Could have His saving grace.

I must not falter
Nor fall along the way.
But look to my Jesus
And that wondrous day.

When I will rise into heaven
To be with him there.
This friend who gave me
A place, in his kingdom to share.
A Friend
The love of my God
Is a splendid thing.
For him my heart
Has a song to sing.

As I walk along
On the narrow path.
He guides my steps
He is my staff.

He shines for me
He is my Light.
When I am weak
He is my might.

He talks with me
When I am down.
No other friend
Like him, have I found.

My life is good
Because of him.
From me he took
All my sin.

He gave me peace
Removed all strife.
In place of death
He gave me life.
No Other Friend
"Knock, it will open
Come, enter in.
All who are laden
Down with sin.

Only by me
Shall you be free.
I am the door
I hold the key.

I am the Light
I am the way.
Come, drink living waters
With me this very day.

I am your Father
Lie here on my breast.
Within my arms
Find your complete rest!"
The Door
I have traveled
So many miles.
I have been through
So many trials.

But I don't regret
A single one.
For in my heart
I am God's son.

Through the darkness
Of heavy night.
He has shown
His wondrous light.

He has let
My tired eyes see.
He has set
My prisoned soul free.

Now I wait
Upon that day.
When to me
He will say.

"Enter now
And find your rest.
For you have done
Your very best!"
Your Very Best
Wondrous Gift
"Jesus Christ,
and him crucified.
Yet, he lives!"
