In Rememberance
Rachel is now running and jumping.
Walking and talking. She is beholding
the full glory of our God and Savior,
the Lord Jesus Christ.
She is now free. Free of the disease
that bound her for most of her young
life. By all the sweet mercy and grace
of God, Satan lost again.
The words that you read here are to
commemorate and honor Rachel. My
sweet, sweet niece.
Because of their undying devotion
to her, these words are also to:

Honor her Father, James
her Mother, Yvonne
her Sister, Noel

Yes, to honor you, her family. Not in
a prideful or boastful way. But because
you helped little Rachel bear a cross.
With dignity, with humility and unflinch-
ing purpose. You never lost your faith.

Now, this cross is laid down. For it was
bore to the full extent, the full measure.
To the glory of God.

I felt so sad, so helpless the day Rachel
went away. But as I prayed, the Lord
came to me with words of great comfort.
"Do not be dismayed, this too is alright.
Rachel is now with me. Be happy for her.
She is free at last. Free of the bondage
she has endured.
Rachel touched many lives that are now
a part of my family. Lives that will live in
eternity with me."

In this life, your memory will never be
forgotten Rachel. We are all looking for-
ward to the day when we will be with you
again. Until that day honey, with great
love, your uncle Dave.....
Back
My dearest Dad
Mom and Sis.
Know, that I did not
Really die.

I came
To be with Jesus.
Home at last
In the sky.

As the hem
Of his white garment.
Wiped all
My tears away.

He whispered
So very softly.
"Come Rachel,
With me this very day."

Gently then
He led me.
As He took me
By the hand.

And I followed
In his footsteps.
Walking together
On golden sand.

Do not sorrow
Do not weep.
For now
I am free.

I can sing
I can shout.
All the wonders
Of heaven see.

The burden
That I carried.
At last
Is laid down.

With Christ now
I am wearing.
My eternal
Golden Crown...!
I Am Free

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethern, concerning
those who have fallen asleep, lest ye sorrow as others who
have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so
God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
The Comfort of Christ's Coming
1 Thessalonians 4:13,14
Rachel passed from the arms of her Mother and Father and into the arms of our Lord on November 12, 2003. She was 23 years of age.
Rachel's lovingly peaceful spirit and her unwavering faith gave courage to those around her. She was a source of constant inspiration to all who knew her. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

"Climb every mountain, Believe in my call.
Herein lies your faith, I will not let you fall.
Climb with no fear, This and so much more.
Your reward for believing, Heavens bright shore!"

He stands beside me, wiping away my tears.
He is there in the valley's, taking my fears.
I have no problems, too great for my King.
These are the words he gives me, that gladly I sing!
