Psalm 118:8 Ministries
It is better to trust in the Lord.....
It's all about you.....Jesus
Who Is Jesus Christ?
Is Christ the second person of a three person trinity?
Is He one God who is manifested as Father, Son, Holy Ghost?
OR
He is the flesh, the image of God
He was born to a woman as a baby. (Her fistborn)
In the book of Isaiah he was prophesied as coming: Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceived, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
He became hungry.
In the book of Matthew that prophesy was fulfilled: Matthew 1:23-25 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring
forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised
from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife. And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
Matthew 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered.
He increased in great wisdom.
Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
He prayed
Luke 22:44 And being in agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down
to the ground.
He dwelt on the earth.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten
of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
He experienced physical death
John 19:30-33 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head and gave up
ghost. The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the Sab-
bath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be
taken away. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But
when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs.
He became a servant
Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not
robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made
in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even
the death of the cross.
He made himself the sacrifice to put away sin.
Hebrews 9:26 For then he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath
he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
He is the Holy Spirit, the Eternal God
He was born the mighty God and everlasting Father
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name
shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
He fed about five thousand
Matthew 14:19-21 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes,
and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples, to the multitude.
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had
eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
He forgave sins and healed the sick
Mark 2:5-11 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And immeadiately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves,
he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsey, Thy
sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath
power on earth to forgive sin, (he saith to the sick of the palsey,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy
way into thine house.
He arose from the dead
Luke 24:1-7 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the
spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed
thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to
the earth, they said unto them, why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he
spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and
be crucified, and the third day rise again.
He answers prayer offered in His name
John 14:13-17 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.
There is nothing He does not know
John 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
He created all things in heaven and on earth
Colossians 1:16-17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all
all things, and by him all things consist.
He is King of kings
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Jesus is the mighty God and the everlasting Father
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name
shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 14:7-9 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen
him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time
with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath see me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then,
Shew us the Father?
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the
Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Jesus is The Son

his name Immanuel.
Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS.
Jesus, also known as Jesus of Nazreth. He is also called Jesus Christ, where Christ is a title derived from the Greek
"christos," meaning the "Anointed One," which corresponds to the Hebrew derived "Messiah". The name "Jesus" is an Anglicization of the Greek "Iesous", itself a Hellenization of the Hebrew "Yahu'ushua" or Hebrew-Aramic "Yeshua" meaning "YHWH (LORD) is salvation".
Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Jesus is The Holy Spirit
John 14:17-18 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him; but
ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (We do not receive the Holy Spirit until we repent and are
baptized. So, the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither know him. Christ had not yet died on the cross.)
Here Christ is saying that He, the Holy Spirit, dwelleth (then present Christ) with (physicallyl) them, and SHALL BE IN (future tense), you. I will not leave you comfortless: I (Christ in us the Holy Spirit) will come to you.

LORD; and beside me there is no savior. (No eternal Son here.)
Jesus said: "If ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins."
John 8:23,24 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

John 14:6-11 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye
had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith
unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet
hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the
Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of
myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me:
or else believe me for the very works' sake.
